Documenting laws

THE Constitutional Law and Reform Commission (CLRC) is to start documenting all customary laws to assist in developing and documenting the country’s underlying laws, acting commission secretary Dorothy Kesenga says.
The commission, in partnership with the Law School at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), started the process last year and 30 customs from around the country were selected.
Of the 30, 27 were documented and presented through a report to the commission in Port Moresby yesterday by the UPNG law faculty.
