I APPRECIATE the publication of Speaker Theo Zurenuoc’s notice on Repentance Day. However, he missed an important fact about understanding the Holy Bible, which seems to indicate his carelessness in interpretation of texts which can mislead many people who regard him as a leader. One of the very important facts about the Bible is that it speaks more spiritual than literal. It’s possible to mislead when this fact is absent from a leader. The interesting thing about the Bible is that it tells a story and at the same time it speaks of the spiritual significance of it through the meditation of mind. Therefore, many of the things in the Bible cannot be taken literally. God’s Word as is written in the Bible should be spiritually interpreted.
