Govt reaping off people

OUR daily cost of living is already high and now a 5% increase in the goods and services tax (GST) will make all wage earners in PNG financially broke. Businesses will not be burdened by this tax reform but we the consumers will be severely penalised. Whose interest is the Government doing this? I appeal to our Members of Parliament to do something about this GST increase. We have many natural resources that the Government can utilise to get revenue rather than reaping off its own people who are struggling to live in an already very expensive environment.
