Don’t change rules for women

Letters

IF women have contested the elections fairly and were voted into parliament just as men, why are some people calling for reserved seats for women? Gender equality means both genders are equal should equally do the hard work.
Both genders should work equally hard for what they want.
If women want to be equal as men then they have to adapt men’s way of doing things.
I appeal to all women to exercise their physical, mental and financial strength during the national general elections.
Contest the elections just as the men.
Reserving seats for women makes them appear to be inferior.
Besides, men struggle to be in parliament and it is not fair that this privilege is given away freely to women.
