Don’t contest if you haven’t done anything

Letters

IT is sad for non-performing MPs as the 2020 elections is approaching and their time is almost up.
It would be better for them not to contest the elections than taking the risk of spending their last resources to please voters in the final hour.
That tactic won’t do them any good.
If your conscience tells you that you haven’t done much, don’t bother contesting in the upcoming elections. It might a waste of time and resources.
It’s better to follow your conscience and heart’s conviction to do what is right than fighting a losing battle.
I hope the wealth and benefits the non-performing MPs have accumulated over their term for personal gain doesn’t turn around and haunt them.

  • Wrong.
Contest so you give back all the money that was given to you, back to PNG after you lose
