Drunken youths on the loose

IT is becoming a norm every weekend for drunken youths living around or near Bagita police barracks in Waigani, to threaten shoppers for money.

These youths drink every weekend and after realising they have no money to continue drinking, go to the nearby shops and market to beg or to threaten shoppers.

This is happening next to the Waigani police station but nothing is done .

Can the police  intervene before something serious happens or someone gets hurt?
