DWU Open Day attracts students, public

 DIVINE Word University’s open day yesterday saw hundreds of people flocking to the campus to learn more about the various courses available at the Madang campus.

The open day was also an opportunity for secondary school students to explore the various courses available.

Students organised dramas, debates, poems and quizzes to entertain the public.

The business studies, communication arts (journalism) and information technology schools set up displays of their work.

The tourism and hospitality school set up a mini-restaurant that attracted both local and international visitors.

Carvings, printed bags and bilums with decorated with traditional Madang and Sepik artwork were also sold.

The health department put up drama shows that attracted many.

Banks and business houses also set up stalls where they displayed and showcased their products.
