East Sepik’s missing Bird

Letters

THE East Sepik government is running its entire administration on an adhoc plan which will not benefit the province’s 400,000 or more people in the next five years (2018-22).
I say this because most of the time we see our Governor Allan Bird flying from Wewak to Port Moresby. We hardly see him on the ground.
It is now almost 12 months since he was elected governor and we have not had one development forum to be told of an outline of his five-year development plan and goals.
We are in total darkness and still waiting for the governor to stop flying in a plane and come down to earth and address development issues at hand.
I am a concerned leader in East Sepik and Wewak and I speak for the province’s growth and development.
Governor Bird, the Sepik people gave you the mandate to go to Parliament to fight for development and service delivery and we want to see results on the ground before the next elections in 2022.
