THE CEO of EHPHA (Eastern Highlands health authority) full page coverage of his stand against the nurses in both our daily newspapers is nothing but all lies.
The impasse he mentioned which he knows very well why it occurred back than and the effect it had on the Eastern Highlands people.
For the sake of others, the impasse he mentions was the result of him and his management hijacking the K4.9 million earmarked for HEOs, MLTs, allied health CHWs and nurses in 2013.
Only a portion not exceeding 10 per cent of that money was paid to all the staff under EHPHA but TVAs and PVAs were never produced.
The CEO should now come out and tell the people of EHP and the concerned categories of health care workers where the rest of the K4.9 million is.
Our fight is an industrial matter, therefore, an industrial expert was invited to come to Goroka together with our national president Frederick Kebai at our expense.
The CEO should not issue threats of legal interpretation to our national leader to supress him from talking for us.
