EC website not working

Letters

WHILE the election campaign period is coming to the end, the voting period is just a few days away, one wonders what’s the role of IT officers employed in the Electoral Commission.
The commission’s web page is dysfunctional.
I mean, how do a citizen find out about his/her name in a common role?
The web site does not indicate any link to click to view his/her name.
This is totally absurd and dysfunctional by the Electoral Commission office. By just visiting the web site thinking that I can find my name, I spent an entire hour browsing the site and could hardly find any links. Some links when clicked provide the response as “coming soon”.
Other links say “currently being updated, check back soon”.
I mean how soon, when the voting is just a few days away.
This is ridiculous.
Very unprofessional.
We are living in the tech age and information must be updated and provided on a timely basis for easy accessing.
This office is an important office and information of such is very vital and needs to be accessed in a timely manner.
Unless, your office has incompetent officers in the specific area, information of public interest will continue to be delayed and will affect all the stakeholders.
