Economic development

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, National Planning and Monitoring Minister Richard Maru, and Secretary Hakaua Harry just spoke about inclusive economic development to take PNG out of its doldrums.
I was impressed with Maru’s eloquence, passion and articulation of the Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council agenda.
Pragmatism will get us moving.
Getting the Highlands Highway repaired as priority will go a long way in addressing many of the issues and bottlenecks highlighted at the National Planning Consultative Summit.
