Education board appointed

THE National Higher and Technical Education Board was endorsed in a National Executive Council decision this week.
Higher Education Minister Pila Niningi said the board included experts from higher and technical education who would serve a three-year term.
Niningi said board members included Prof Kevin McConkey, David Conn, Dr Anne Martin, Dr Janice Cameron, Dr George Bopi, Rev Sir Samson Lowa and Dr Ludmilla Salonda.
“We have confidence in the appointment of these professionals, as they will bring to the board the expertise needed to drive higher education forward,” he said.
