Education needs someone qualified

Letters

PLEASE allow me to raise this concern.
I have worked in the National Education Department for
more than 20 years, holding one
of the senior public service positions.
Over the last seven years, the appointed ministers have spent much of their time travelling abroad and domestically and spent little time in office.
They spent less time checking on senior staff members.
They could hardly call names of senior education officers.
They never allowed others to visit their officers except with the consent of the secretary.
There were incidents when they required the Education secretary and the TSC to purchase ministerial vehicles just before their terms expired.
The only two outstanding education ministers are Joseph Yopyopy and James Marape.
These two stood out as the most loved former ministers.
We need an education minister who is very much similar to these two former ministers.
