Ela Motors donates bus to heart foundation

HEALTH is a crucial issue that needs attention for Papua New Guineans, Ela Motors Papua New Guinea marketing manager Benjamin Niligur says.
“This is why our corporate social responsibility programme supports health initiatives whenever and wherever possible,” he said.
Niligur spoke at Ela Motor’s presentation of a Toyota Hiace bus to the Operation Open Heart Foundation in Port Moresby on Tuesday.
He said the bus was donated to help the foundation transport an international team that will be visiting Port Moresby today.
Niligur said his company’s corporate social responsibility also gave out to communities to promote education, health and sports.
“We have in the past provided help to hospitals and small clinics nationwide in terms of medical equipment and medicine,” he said.
“We hope this will help the foundation to go a long way and surgeons as well during their stay and in whatever they will do here.”
