Elect leaders based on merit

Letters

IN view of the current national election, the nation is urged to seriously screened and elected leaders based on merit.
This means voting a person who possess a level of education, preferably a university degree.
In addition, this leader must be God-fearing, possess Godly qualities and, most importantly, have relevant experience during his/her public life as an advocate or an activist.
Leaders are not born, leaders are made after having gone through life lessons and they learn leadership characteristics.
In my province, I noticed two such leaders, who are contesting for provincial and open seats who have such potential, possessing relevant background during their public lives as activists.
We are at the brink of a global crisis in terms of economy and general securities concern.
So please choose leaders who can be vocal and idealistic on the floor of parliament for our sake.
