Employees participate in two-day training

THIRTY employees of City Pharmacy Limited Hardware Haus from around the country participated in a two-day training for the company’s new catalogue.
The new catalogue – Ryobi and AEG Powertools – are now distributed in all CPL Hardware Haus stores.
Vanua Vanua, who has been working in the CPL Hardware Haus store for more than 10 years, said the training was good “build our confidence and level of authority”.
“I was happy to be involved in that training. The workshop helped us in product knowledge and taught us how to be familiar and be smart with the tools in the shop when we are approached by customers,” Vanua said. “It is a new thing and I am happy that the AEG and Ryobi training team was here to teach us the basics.”
He said the tools were powerful and portable. Some have an extra battery pack and rechargeable.
Hardware Haus has 11 stores in 10 centers around the country.
Ryobi Limited is a worldwide manufacturer of die castings, printing equipment, power tools and builders’ hardware with group companies in Japan, United States, Europe and China.
The national training manager for Ryobi and AEG Powertools Wayne Beckwith was pleased to train the 19 sales people in Lae and 11 in Port Moresby.
