Industry’s CEO happy with group’s performance

CHIEF executive officer of the Coffee Industry Corporation Charles Dambui is satisfied with the performance of the Apo Angra Angna Kange Coffee Cooperative group in promoting coffee production.
“I am proud to see the AAAK Coffee Cooperative grow strong to provide support and encouragement to small coffee farmers to concentrate on producing more quality coffee for exports,” Dambui said.
He thanked AAAK general manager Brian Kuglame, chairman of Apo in Eastern Highlands Nick Ello, Jerry Kiman of Angra in Chimbu, Pastor Kombuk Kensya of Angna in Jiwaka and Stanley Konga of Kange in Western Highlands and the management under general manager Brian Kuglame.
AAAK cooperative members presented him with garden food and a pig to welcome him to his post.
“I have been using AAAK Cooperative as a role model for small coffee growers. It is a registered entity with clean books. I always use it as a fine example for others to emulate,” Dambui said.
Kuglame congratulated Dambui and expressed confidence that he would move the coffee industry forward.
