England team to visit village

THE England Knights will be guests at the Gabagaba Rugby League origin series at the Gabagaba village, Rigo, outside Port Moresby.
The announcement was made by Gabagaba league president Trevor Uru after their grand final on Saturday.
Uru said two teams were selected to playoff to pick a representative side for future tournaments including the Southern 9s in December. He said the official kick off would be made by Knights official yet to be confirmed.
“The Knights will be welcomed by traditional dancers and given leis,” Uru said.
Central Governor Robert Agarobe, who is from the village, is expected to give the welcome speech.
The Knights are scheduled to arrive in the village at 11am and the match kicks off at 12.30pm.
