Enough of excuses

EVERY time a PNG selected sporting side loses or does not perform to expectation, coach and management are quick to say they “are not prepared, it’s a new team and we are learning to do better the next time around”.
What a load of rubbish.
Selection is on and selected players are in camp and taught or coached.
Yet we seems to be giving rubbish to defend the loss.
We must be honest to ourselves.
Rugby league and soccer have been played in the country as a national sport, unlike others.
Let’s not make up a team if the sport is not popular.
Let this particular sport be played in the country for some years and we can have a team to compete with other countries.
Enough of excuses, you sport administrators.
