Entrepreneur sees adaptation as positive step

ACCEPTING the new norm and encouraging business activities will be a start to recovering from Covid-19, says a businesswoman.
According to Akae Beach, who runs Beach Accounting Services which looks after SMEs (small to medium enterprises), it is now the time to get the country’s finances and economy back on track.
“Firstly with our health, then our finances and finally our economy, let’s not allow Covid-19 to stop our progress altogether,” she said.
Beach said town authorities and councils and the government needed to put out laws and control measures in all towns and rural areas so that businesses and the informal sector could get back to earning.
