Explain business arm’s purpose

Letters

WITH the Wafi-Golpu project about to start with Morobe government’s involvement in the project, I wish to question the establishment of this company, Morobe Resource Holdings Ltd, and its involvement in the business spin-off activities in Morobe.
Who are the shareholders and directors of this company and for whose benefit was the company set up for?
If this company is a business arm of the Morobe government, as was claimed in the print media some months back, then what happened to the previous business arm, Kum-Gie Holdings Ltd?
Has Kum-Gie been liquidated?
If it has been, why wasn’t a full report published so shareholders (the people of Morobe) are made aware?
What specific role has Morobe Resource Holdings Ltd been playing and which direction is it heading, as far as business activities for Morobe are concerned?
Perhaps the good Governor Ginson Saonu and/or his band of advisers/consultants can explain that?
