Bank of South Pacific and the Port Moresby Nature Park are teaming up to commemorate the World Environment Day on Saturday at the park.
With the theme “Go Green for Life”, the expo promises a lot of fun with activities for children.
Port Moresby Nature Park general manager Michelle McGeorge said the annual expo was part of the park’s on-going activities which educate and promote awareness about PNG’s  flora and fauna.
“Nature Park is always happy to partner with BSP and other organisations to spread the message,” McGeorge said.
BSP’s manager Corporate Sponsorships, Rosemary Mawe said it was a worthwhile event.
“Learning can be fun and each year, we meet and teach children about the importance of caring for and respecting the environment and the world we live in,” Mawe said.
She said as part of the Go Green initiative, BSP would continue to challenge themselves, their system and their partners.
“We are the Green Bank, we know our communities and we are pleased to contribute as a part of our corporate and social responsibility,” Mawe said.
BSP also supports Port Moresby Nature Park in its wildlife conservation. It recently sponsored the new Hornbill Exhibit.
The Expo is between 9am and 3pm and will feature face painting, arts and crafts, stalls, games, prizes and the BSP inflatable obstacle course.
Entry fee for adults is K7, children (3-12yrs) K3 and students (with ID) K4.
