ExxonMobil funds scholarships

New Guinea’s workforce will be boosted by the PNG LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) scholarship programme funded by ExxonMobil PNG and implemented in partnership with the Australian Government this year.
The partnership between ExxonMobil and Australian Government contributes to addressing rural workforce gaps in the frontline service delivery of health with promotion focused on students living in rural locations of PNG LNG project areas.
Australian High Commission’s counsellor (education), Suzzane Edgecombe described the partnership as an excellent example of private and public sector coming together to enhance economic and social progress.
