Fellowship raises K1,237 in boubou

THE Morobe Circuit Men’s Fellowship in Lae, Morobe, on Tuesday night collected K1,237.60 in a mini boubou (thanksgiving) at Lae United church at Malaita Street.
The money collected was to support the men’s ministry and its activities.
So far, they have supported other ministries in the circuit such as  the women’s fellowship trip to Gavuone in Central, youth convention to be held in the circuit and the construction of the new superintendent minister’s house.
On the night, a sub-committee was put in place, with 10 men vo­lunteering to spearhead the logistics of the first ever United church men’s fellowship confe­rence.
The conference is to be held next year in Lae.
