Fighting didn’t have to start

ELECTION-related problems in the Kandep district and Wabag town might not have happened if the Electoral Commission officials in the province had exercised their powers in a trasparent manner.
Kandep would have had a peaceful election if the seven ballot boxes from Tarapis, Gini 1, Tirip, Kinduli, Kitali, Kanian and Laguni had not been disputed.
Electoral Commissioner Patilias Gamato received an incorrect situational report during the time of counting and because of that we now have fighting and chaos in Kandep and Wabag.
