Firm gives K100,000 for Christmas

A locally-owned company in Kundiawa has given K100,000 to different organisations in the province to celebrate Christmas.
It is not a new thing for CBL Ltd.
In the past, the company gave money to government, private, church and other organisations to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
This year is no exception for CBL.
Company representative Brown Siwi visited Barawaghi Jail on Friday and gave K1000 to jail commander Micheal Auirap for Correctional Service officers to celebrate Christmas.
Auirap said that he had been serving in the jail for 10 years and this was his first time to see a locally-owned company do such.
He said the money would be put to good use with his 40 officers and their families.
Siwi said that it was a company tradition to recognise different organisations in the province.
He said the company gave K100, 000 in cash to government and community-based organisations, as well as churches to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Siwi said these organisations played very important roles for the betterment of people, province and country as a whole.
He urged people to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with colleagues, church members and families.
