It was an early Christmas gift for the Registry of Political Parties Netball Club when they received a new set of netball uniforms worth K10,000 from Promojam.
Promojam — a supplier of corporate and sporting outfits, and other merchandise — has been supplying government agencies with gear over the years.
Promojam managing director Peter Jamison, said he was pleased to donate the uniforms to help promote the registry and its work.
“I am glad to sponsor the registry’s netball club and I hope to see good results with the new set of uniforms next season,” he said.
Present to receive the uniforms on behalf of registrar Dr Alphonse Gelu was policy and legal director Emmanuel Pok, club president Henao Lister and the players.
Pok highlighted the importance of the work of the registry and thanked the company for the donation.
“We have been very lucky to outsource funding to purchase our corporate uniforms which is now in its second year,” he said.
The registry has two teams participating in the Public Servants Netball and have being in the competition since 2008.
Pok thanked the company for taking the initiative to donate to the registry.
“We will work towards a good result in the competition,” he said in a statement.
“Over the years, the registry have won in various divisions.
“We are sure that our teams will give their best in the coming season.”
The uniforms will be launched next season, according to Lister.
