Firm supports agricultural show

RAMU Agri Industries Ltd (RAIL), a division of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd (NBPOL), presented a cheque of K52,500 to the Morobe Provincial Agriculture Show (MPAS) committee as part of their blue ribbon sponsorship.
The cheque was presented with 60 cartons of sugar which will be given to the singsing groups who also come under Ramu’s sponsorship.
RAIL sales and marketing manager Roy Beerwald said they had supported the show for more than 15 years and this year NBPOL was getting more involved to get the people to know more about the company and their products, especially agricultural products.
Beerwald said they would also be using green and clean bags as part of the fight against plastic bags.
“We are a big supporter of the show and we want to see it grow and progress,” he said.
“We are pleased and happy that the Morobe show is really supporting agriculture in the country,” Beerwald said.
