Firms gives K15,000 to unit

 MOTOR Vehicle Insurance Ltd (MVIL) in Madang has given the Madang police traffic unit K15,000 for toilet facilities.

MVIL officer Lucy Megiarni presented the cheque to Acting Chief Insp Ben Neneo on Friday.

Madang Ori Ltd is the contractor for the job.

Megiarni said the toilet facilities at the traffic office crashed eight months ago.

She said traffic officer in-charge Willie Marita worked hard to secure funding for the facilities.

She added that the firm’s decision to make the donation came after MVIL chief executive officer Joe Wemin visited the unit and inspected their facilities.
