Five-hundred energy professionals worldwide expected at summit

IN exactly a month from now, more than 500 senior level energy professionals worldwide will gather in Port Moresby for the CWC 3rd Papua New Guinea Petroleum and Energy Summit.
The summit from March 19 to 21 summit will include key topics:

  • PNG project overview: updates on existing, planned and future projects;
  • Asia leaders panel: regional partnerships and collaborations;
  • future gas leaders of tomorrow;
  • government policy initiatives for the petroleum and energy sectors;
  • future energy, maximising technological innovation and sustainable infrastructure development;
  • harnessing Government power policies: domestic energy markets and opportunities;
  • renewable and future energy spotlight: alternative energy supply and sustainable development; and,
  • Finance session: how can PNG’s energy sector continue to harness investment?

  • Sam Basil, Minister of Communications Information Technology and Energy;

Following unprecedented activity and growth in the PNG oil and gas sector, the summit brings energy leaders together to discuss current energy projects and future strategies for expansion.
The summit is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and endorsed by Pok and Basil.
