Follow safety rules under new normal

Letters

MANY stubborn human beings around the world are ignoring the new normal rules.
I agree with this because even though the Covid-19 is spreading as a fire ball, people are still going into shops without taking precautions and not wearing a mask.
With all the facts about the Covid-19, we should continue to wear marks everywhere we go.
My other concern is that many people are not washing their hands regularly.
For goodness sake, make use of the water basins provided in front of shops.
I understand that it is our right to go out freely to shops and markets, but it is our responsibility to take the new normal seriously and be practical.
Selfish people don’t know or realise that they are putting the elderly at risk.
Remember, it can be your grandfather or grandmother’s life on the line.
So, I am encouraging everyone to be good role models to others and save our families, clans, tribes and country before it’s too late.
Follow the rules under the new normal and try as much as possible to live healthy lifestyles.
