Former bishop launches ministry to empower youths

A NEW Voice of Prophesy Ministry was launched at the Nabual United church in the Duke of York Island local level government (LLG) in Kokopo, East New Britain (ENB), on Sunday.
The launch was initiated by former Bishop of the United church Rev Nathaniel Pairuia and Marama Dulcie.
“The Voice of Prophesy Ministry launch is just the beginning of many initiatives that we need to do to upgrade the work of the Gospel in the United church as well has other denominations,” Rev Pairuia.
“Our ultimate aim is to equip youths with the Gospel message and we will relay it through the ministry that will help build them so they are focused on spreading the word of Jesus Christ.”
Rev Pairuia said although he was no longer a bishop, he was committed in continuing his pastoral work in the community with a focus on youth.
“I have thought of this when I retired and it has come through to launch the ministry which will focus on enhancing the spiritual development for youths,” he said.
