Fuel company adds support for Hunters cause

PUMA Energy has renewed its support of the SP PNG Hunters.
Puma Energy has been in partnership with the Hunters since 2014.
This sponsorship to date is worth over K96,000.
Puma Energy committed to a further two-year sponsorship in fuelling the PNG Hunters team in kind, with the provision of fuel and lubricants for the vehicle that transports the PNG Hunters players to the sporting arena and to the training grounds.
The company announced a further two-year sponsorship bringing their total commitment to just under K150,000.
PNG Rugby Footbal League CEO Reatau Rau stated that while the value of support given to the SP Hunters was important it was the partnerships that they built with corporate community which would sustain the SP Hunters.
“On behalf the PNG Rugby Football League I welcome again Puma Energy as a sponsor and partner of the SP PNG Hunters,” Rau said.
“We are the current premiers of the Intrust Super Cup, and having big name sponsors associated with the SP Hunters goes a long in ensuring all the efforts and visions of the team can be sustained.
“This current announcement is a renewal of commitments form the last couple of years.
“We have other partners who provide different contra-sponsorships; in the case of Puma Energy they provide all the fuel that we need.
“The buses that the SP Hunters use, the coaches’, trainers’ and COE’s vehicles are all fuelled by Puma Energy,” Rau said
