Fund informs members of error

NATIONAL Superannuation Fund (Nasfund) has informed its members that an amount of K6,006.30 was mistakenly debited from all member accounts on Thursday during a routine processing of a housing advance application by their fund administrators.
The company said in a statement that the error was identified and corrective action had been taken to restore all member balances by 8pm on Friday.
Nasfund and Kina Group of Companies assured its members that appropriate measures and controls had been taken to ensure the incident would not happen again.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and worry this has caused,” the fund said in a statement.
The company said members with further queries could contact designated personnel for clarification.
