THE AP Futsal League BSP Alpha Series ends on Sunday with rounds 10 and 11 and the finals play-offs at Amini Park.

The SP-sponsored competition frontrunners, Island Strikers and Manu United will square off to decide the championship in the last game of Round 11.

Both had major setbacks on Sunday, with BSP stunning Island Strikers with a 7-4 upset and MRL holding Manu United 1-1.

The MRL and Bones derby in the game before that should have the crowd on their feet throughout.

Turua, Lightning Sons, Niuani, BSP and Pacific MMI Shorties will try to finish as high as possible on the ladder as the battle for third to eighth spots is only separated by five points. A win is worth three points.

Anniicxz, Sea Bees and PKA will be trying their best to avoid relegation.

The presentation of awards and a barbecue for all players will follow the matches with the inaugural BSP Alpha Series 2013 Championship Trophy and special team awards.

Entertainment by Chilli Sounds will be provided throughout the day with round 10 starting at 3.30pm and the last match ending at 8pm.

The BSP Winter Series is scheduled to start in June with nominations now open for interested teams. Only 12 new teams can be accepted.
