Gazelle looking to continue unbeaten run in men’s softball

THE Moni Plus Gazelle Softball team remain undefeated in the 2024 Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association competition as game five continues this weekend at the Bisini Diamonds.
Following their nail-biting 6-5 win over current champions, United Brothers, last Sunday, they are expected to maintain their pace as they prepare to face Eastern Aces.
Meanwhile, Brothers will get an easy two-point win against Aviat Jets following a no-show on the diamonds since the season proper started.
Aces on the other hand, will be looking to take on last year’s grand finalist Pawa as they peak from their 4-1 win against Kikila Cats last Sunday.
Re-entering competitions this year, the Brown Eagles have no time to waste following last Sunday’s win over Defence as they prepare to make a quick fly over the base against Saints.
Stingerz, slowly picking form, will give the men in green, Defence a challenge.
Kikila Cats, coming off two loses last weekend, will be looking for a win as they have a mammoth task ahead when they face competition frontrunners Gazelle.
Bears receive free two-points on bye this weekend in the Men’s A Grade competition.
