Gift shop looking forward to resume business

MAKU Gifts, a locally-owned business operating from Kokopo, East New Britain, says it will resume once the 14-day lockdown imposed by Government is lifted.
Owner Annette Sete said: “We will resume supplies of our fabric to customers’ country wide once all the bans are lifted.”
Sete told The National on Tuesday that they had to close shop and have its workers stay at home during the ban and it had affected the business. She recently called for intervention by the Government.
