NOT all Highlanders are bad people as proclaimed by the Morobeans  in Lae City.

I think this mindset is too broad and totally are wrong perception and require little bit of lecture to clear the air.

Good highlanders and coastal people should work together to eradicate these kind of problems and it’s not a good idea for Morobeans to act alone.

The latest protest was so aggressive and sent a mindset of regionalism and racism rather than cleaning the city. Well nobody is stopping anyone to do business, own properties, run city transport, city guest houses and any other business.

This is our land and we should lead the way in business and other things.

The truth is that these good highlanders are hardworking people and contribute positively to Morobe’s development. If I am correct, most of the big business in transport, real estate, building and construction, road construction and others businesses that are owned by Highlands people.

Furthermore these companies create job opportunities for Morobeans.

Also other small business such as guest houses, city transports, bakery and others are provided by the highlanders. We can’t fold our arms and start to criticize them, we have to work hard by using our land.

We Morobeans have vast amount of land but never utilize them properly for good economic returns. Instead we sell them for quick money returns.

Therefore we can’t blame the Highlanders for our ignorance. We must work hard too.
