Keep out cheap goods from Asia

 THE cause and effect of the rampagein Lae City this week can be analysed in respect to the economy and history of Lae City and Papua New Guinea as a whole

Historically, we have all heard, read and witnessed what has happened since the colonial days until the world war two. New Guinea have been colonised by Germany and Papua has been colonised by Australia. Until the world war two, Australia has done so much to Papua New Guinea in respect to lives, property and investment.

We have been in war with Japan, the historical scar is still in the hearts and minds of Papua New Guineans and also the Asians. We should never let the Asians entered our country to make businesses, they are our historical enemy.

Papua New Guinea is a nation of diverse culture and tradition with the National Emblem showing the Bird of Paradise. No matter what, our Nation is a quality nation blessed with resources unbelievable. That is the truth. 

We should be trading high quality products, not counterfeit low quality products from Asia.

The Asians are trading low quality product making Papua New Guinea to become a dumping ground for second and third world countries. As a matter of fact the Asians are causing and manipulating the identity of our country with heaps and heaps of junks with rubbish. 

The Government of Papua New Guinea has to closely monitor the trading license of all the Asians in our Country as many of them are trading without a legal valid trading license. 

In relation to the rampage here in Lae, the street vendors who are the Papua New Guineans themselves trying to sell the rubbish brought in by Asians has led eventually to rampage recently here in Lae. 

The Government should only allow Australia, Germany and America to trade in our country because they produce high qaulity products.
