Government deserves praise

THE current government is tackling some of the biggest projects within the short period of time from 2012-2018.
People make negative comments and criticise the government by looking at one side of a coin only.
This government has achieved almost 99 per cent of the goals it targeted under its Alotau accords between 2012 and 2018.
These are some major projects the government has done or are in the pipeline:

  • The upgrade of roads in Port Moresby;
  • The plan for five main national highways to be built between now and 2022;
  • A highway from Southern Highlands to Kikori, in Gulf, is planned to open next year;

These roads will create more business opportunities and jobs.
People should thank the O’Neill government instead of making negative comments about it through social media.
