Government, please pay up

I TAKE this opportunity to air my views on the failure of the Government to pay its contribution towards public servants’ superannuation fund at Nambawan Super Limited.
I understand that the matter was taken to court by the board and management of Nambawan Super and the court ruled in favour of NSL, ordering the Government to pay what it owed. However, after meeting with the Treasurer, an agreement was reached.
Most retirees have waited patiently for some years and some have even died without getting the money owed to them by the Government.
For once, please acknowledge us and pay up.
