Government services

Letters

I WANT to write about what I observe and feel on the ground as a result of government policies and decisions.
This government must be praised for having a policy of free health and education.
However, there is no use having a policy of “free” healthcare and education when many cannot even access education and health services.
Only a few have enjoyed those services. The bulk of the population of PNG are dying because health services are lacking. There are also no classrooms and teachers in schools, and many schools charge fees that are too much for poor parents, especially those who have more than one child attending school or at a tertiary institution.
