WHEN it comes to choosing between conviction, principles and who comes first in leadership versus party’s position and being in Government, East Sepik Governor Allan Bird demonstrates this standard of leadership. He voted against the Government’s latest Public Health Emergency Act 2020.
Bird must have picked up something fishy in this rushed law devoid of consultation, debate and scrutiny and refused to follow the yes men and crowd followers.
This to me should be the new normal style leadership.
Well done governor for putting your people’s wishes above all else even at the expense of risking all the help from the Government.
Not bad for a first time member with standards, principles and a true servant

  • I fully support Governor Allan Bird. We need more disciplined and no non sense leaders like Governor Bird and Juffa to move this country forward in 2022.
