I AM here for service delivery, East New Britain Governor and Kokopo MP Ereman ToBaining Jnr said.

ToBaining made this comment when addressing a gathering at Birar, Bitapaka LLG, in the Kokopo district recently when opening a new aid post.

“These are the days for service delivery, a time to be accountable, responsible and serve the people,” ToBaining said.

“I am here for service delivery. I am not here to waste people’s time, make commitments and pledges after pledges.”

He said K400,000 was allocated for road works in the Bitapaka area, K200,000 for an aid post orderly’s house at Birar aid post, K180,000 for Birar Primary School double classroom, K50,000 for Birar Catholic church and K1 million for rural electrification in the Menabonbon area.

The newly opened aid post was initiated by former Kokopo MP late Patrick Tammur but was not completed and with ToBaining’s support, he pushed for the aid post to be completed and would start operation next Monday.

He also donated a new vehicle to Bitapaka LLG administration telling the people that the vehicle was bought from their money and that they should report public servants misusing the vehicle.
