Group helps students affected by quake

THE Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship in Jiwaka and Western Highlands gave K1600 to their members from Mendi School of Nursing and Dauli Teachers’ College on Saturday.
TSCF executives and teachers from the Kudjip Nazarene College of Nursing, the Melanesia Nazarene Teachers’ College, Melanesia Bible College, Highlands Agriculture Technical Institute and Holy Trinity Teachers’ College divided the money among the two colleges that were affected by the earthquake.
The money was raised from a public fundraising drive.
They halved the money — K800 each to Dauli and Mendi Nursing college.
The TSCF students and staff from the four institutions have earlier donated nine 60kg bails of clothes to the affected people at Mt Bosavi.
