IT’S going to be another mammoth task for the PNG Hunters halves Charlie Simon and William Mone this weekend at home when they take on the Northern Pride.
Last weekend’s 10-0 loss at the hands of Tweed Heads was the first time the pair had played together.
However that is water under the bridge according five-eighth Charlie Simon — they have a chance to redeem themselves on Sunday.
“Last week wasn’t really hard but it was our first time to actually play together,” Simon said.
“I think we both need to polish up our combinations and when the competition goes on we will build on that.
“Me and Willie were scrappy last week and communication broke down and plays went wrong. We just need to keep on working on that and improve tevery game.
“We’re playing at home so that will be another challenge.
“We just want to get back our fans’ trust.
Simon said every aspect of the Hunters game was up fro scrutiny but with more time there would be progress made on all fronts.
