PUBLIC Services Commission acting chairman Dr Philip Kereme is deeply concerned over claims that officers in the Public Services Commission sought bribes from a senior officer to vet a vacancy.
Kereme said the report was biased and based on hearsay.
He said he had received a letter containing the allegations from an anonymous source claiming to be a senior officer.
Kereme said the PSC instilled good governance in the public service, and sensitive allegations of corruption and bribery would tarnish its reputation.
