Headline and rubbish

Letters

THE Eye Witness headline on page 39 of The National yesterday “Are you wasting your time, Rosso?” is in bad taste.
A more-meaningful caption could have been: “Lae residents must change their primitive attitudes and stop littering around town”.
While we appreciate Eye Witness articles, which have triggered improvements in some areas by reminding leaders and bureaucrats of their official duties towards taxpayers, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Educate the citizens to be more responsible, instead of taking cheap shots at prominent public figures.
