Heed calls for repatriation

Letters

POLITICIANS and Port Moresby city authorities drive around in tinted windows of flashy vehicles daily and year after year.
But I wonder do they read facial expressions of the very people who were behind the black Wednesday incident.
From what I see daily, these people show signs of hunger and desperateness and that is clearly evident from their facial expressions and the nature of activities they involve in.
This issue of unwanted people and their eyesore activities brought to light repeatedly and many times for the city authority and Government to do somethingabout it but nothing has been done to date.
The black Wednesday could have been avoided if the city authority and Government heeded calls for repatriation of unemployed and village people back to their home province.
The recent black Wednesday is a rehearsal one, a much bigger one in waiting will see no more Port Moresby.
This is no joke.
