Hekari United players have done us proud

I WOULD like to congratulate Hekari United for winning the O-League final and qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup tournament in December.
I am glad that the team played an offensive game in Auckland as attack is the best defence, especially when we have a three-goal advantage.
It was obvious the Kiwis were rattled by our tactics as they were not expecting our players to opt for an attacking game.
It was also important that our players did not lose their heads after conceding an early goal.
The fact that we managed to keep the Kiwis at bay after that and to score an away goal took most of the air out of Waitakere.
Hekari have shown that we are no longer the whipping boys.
